Job Summary

 Perform various routine, repetitive operations including simple layout and assembly of component parts required to produce standard stock sizes of woven wire security fence sections.

Essential Job Requirements

Able to successfully complete a basic math test

Ability to read a tape measure

Good attendance record

Essential Job Functions

1. Work from verbal or written instructions to assemble standard size woven wire sections using ordinary, or special hand, or air-powered tools for cutting, twisting, and bending wire ends.

2. Use layout table to assemble end, side, and center channel sections to each other and to the woven web.

3. Detect equipment malfunctions, defective materials, unusual conditions, and report to lead operator or supervisor. Maintain equipment and work areas in clean and orderly condition. Observe all safety rules, regulations, and practices.

Perform other similar or related duties as assigned or instructed by the supervisor.
