Shift: 1st shift

Hours: Monday-Friday with some work on Saturdays from 8:00am-5:00pm

Pay: $17.00 per hour

Manufacturing facility located in Conover is seeking an experienced Inventory Specialist to add to their growing team!  Covid safe environment.

Responsible for oversight of cycle counting inventory control as well as inventory accuracy for the parts area. Ensure all Purchase Orders have proper approvals; works closely with corporate purchasing on the development of new vendors and methods for cost reductions and performs other responsibilities as needed.

Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Knowledge of ERP systems and willingness to learn company specific system.
Computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite [Word, Excel, Outlook].
Analytical and problem-solving skills.
Verbal and written communication skills.
Reading and math skills.
Able to tolerate frequent standing and walking.
Ability to lift or move typically up to 25 lbs.
Other physical demands – stooping, kneeling, reach, climb, sit, bend and move about the facility.
Ability to work overtime on short notice.
Attendance/Punctuality – Is consistently at work and on time.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED, preferred
Previous cycle counting experience.
