A local manufacturing company in Conover, NC that supply high nickel alloy for critical engineering is actively searching for a Machine Operator to work on 1st shift at their Conover location.
Hours are Monday-Thursday 5am-3pm
Pay is $15.50/hr
What you will do:
- Set up and operate machines to draw/make electrodes using wire or other ingredients per work orders.
- Read work orders for product specifications such as safety, quality and dimensions and tolerances. Also read tooling instructions such as fixtures, feed rates, and determine sequence of operation.
- Set up fixtures or feeding device, start machine, operate equipment to feed tool to work piece and engage feed.
What you will need:
- GED or High School Diploma required
- 1-3 years of Machine Operating experience
- Basic math skill knowledge
- STEEL TOE SHOES
